MICROLITE-8 - Temperature sensor; 8,000 sample memory MICROLITE-16 - Temperature sensor; 16,000 sample memory Back to MicroLite FAQs  When the MicroLite is placed in below freezing conditions, the LCD screen does not operate correctly. Why? All standard LCD screens, when placed in below freezing temperatures, suffer from loss of performance due to the liquid crystal compound inside the screen reacting differently in such conditions. The data on the screen may not appear to be scrolling as fast and may even seem inaccurate. Once the LCD screen warms up and reaches normal temperatures again, it will begin to display correctly. In the current MicroLite models, when connected to the USB port power consumption is greater than when not connected to the USB port. We recommend you do not leave the logger connected via USB for longer than necessary. Back to MicroLite FAQs  Is the MicroLite water and dust proof? The MicroLite currently meets the IP68 standard, meaning it is dust-tight and will be able to be submerged in water under conditions that the manufacturers defines. fourtec has defined that the MicroLite will withstand up to 50 cm submersion in water for up to half an hour without damaging the logger.
